Having completed my MBA specialisation in Human resource management, I started my professional career in KPCL as Management Trainee – Human resources. In the last 9 years have gone through various phases of the organization, starting as a fresh graduate I had my own professional aspirations and ambitions. I was always keen on getting practical hands on experience, learn hard and grow in the organization.
My superiors and peers have always found me as a team player and due this team effort we have been able to effectively manage the HRM department. I have been involved in lot of improvement projects in field of Human resource Management, Industrial relation and Administration in the organization, in this tenure I have learnt a lot of organizational development initiatives such implementing ISO standards, Business excellence model, Sustainability reporting etc. Looking at my strong commitments and dedication towards my work and responsibility, management entrusted me with the responsibility of handling overall Industrial relations and Human resource management of the organization, currently I am designated as Factory Manager for KPCL.
I have been part of many key initiatives in the field of Industrial relation such as, Wage settlement of workmen within record time of 19 days of negotiations. Conducting Union elections, implementation of wage settlement clauses etc. These opportunities and exposure has given me enormous confidence to handle the overall HRM part more responsibly and effectively. I am also part of some important committees / teams in the company such as Central Legal committee, Apex Safety Committee, Sustainability reporting team.
The journey with KPCL so far has been of great learning and thrill for me and I look forward to serve the organization with the fullest of my abilities and always strive to make KPCL a great place to work!!!!
