Required Experience -

1.Project Sales with 4 to 6 years experience
2.Candidates should have experience in sales of industrial refrigeration systems in food processing, pharma, dairy and similar market segments
3.Experience in pre-proposal study for making specifications, estimation of bill of materials and costing. Experience of working in Shipyards is added advantage.


Job Profile -

 

Job Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators
1.Market prospecting and customer visits Completion of customer visit and enquiry generation as per operating plan
1) Identify prospective customer
2) Make planned customer visits and product presentation
3) Registration with prospective customers as approved supplier for refrigeration equipment
2.Study and scrutinize customer enquiry, prepare the following in consultation with Engineering Design Department Build unique value proposition so that probability to book order is high
 1) Selection of compressors
 2) Selection of compressors
 3) Selection of evaporators
 4) Preliminary P&I drawing
 5) GA drawing for the refrigeration plant
 6) Plant layout drawing
 7) Battery limits
 8) Exclusions
3.Prepare and finalize the following Accuracy and completeness of the BoM as per defined parameters
 1) Scope of supply and services
 2) Prepare a bill of material for the project
4.Project costing Accuracy and completeness of the BoM as per defined parameters
 1) Obtain cost quotation from prospective / approved suppliers
 2) Prepare the project cost estimates
 3) Prepare the billing break-up
 4) Obtain approval for cost estimate and billing-break-up
5.Preparation of proposals Timely submission of offers
 1) Technical proposal
 2) Commercial proposal
6.Obtain approval for technical and commercial proposal Timeline as per customer need
 1) Submit the proposals as per customer requirement
 2) Receive customer queries and submit the clarifications
7.Negotiation and order booking Book order as per operating plan
 1) Attend technical discussions and finalize technical requirement for the project
 2) Attend commercial negotiations with customer in line with company's policies, offer terms and conditions
 3) Finalize and book order with approval of competent KPCL officer
8.Post order processing  
 1) Prepare order acceptance letter and submit to the customer for any amendments required  
 2) Finalize cost estimate and enter into ERP system  
 3) Co-ordinate with customer for amendment and payment  
 4) Prepare the final billing break up, obtain customer approval and enter into ERP systems for making sales order Customer approval for billing break-up
 5) Register the project on ERP system  
 6) Finalize cost estimate and enter into ERP system  
 7) Co-ordinate with customer for amendment and advance payment  
 8) Prepare the final billing break up, obtain customer approval and enter into ERP systems for making sales order
