In order to understand the society (stakeholder) perception, KPCL conducts society perception survey every alternate year through external agency KINSS (Karve Institute of Social Service). For 2013-14 a sample of 132 respondents from across all stakeholders of the society was covered and overall society perception / satisfaction index was 94. On a 5 point scale (weighted average) KPCL was benchmark in most of the major areas when compared with other manufacturing industries by KINSS. The survey included questions focused on 5 perception indicators with 21 statements to be rated on a scale of 1 to 5. This resulted into suggestions for improvements as well as needs assessment of stakeholders. Various segments of stakeholders like beneficiaries, school principals, teachers, NGO partners, service providers, community members were covered.
